We are currently seeking high potential candidates to join us through Systems Design Engineering team, reporting directly to the area supervisor.\nPosition Mission: Responsible for the development and maintenance of low voltage systems (wire harness circuits), creating electrical schematics according to customer requirements and managing product changes throughout the engineering lifecycle, while interacting with multiple stakeholders to ensure quality and compliance.\nMain tasks & responsibilities:\nEngineering & Product Development\nDevelop and maintain low voltage systems designs (wire harness circuits).\nCreate and validate electrical schematics in accordance with customer (OEM) requirements and specifications.\nAnalyse engineering specifications and manage product changes throughout the project lifecycle.\nPerform design reviews and technical assessments to ensure compliance with applicable standards.\nPrepare and maintain technical documentation for product definition.\nAct as a technical interface with customers (OEMs) for systems designs definition.\nTeam & Cross Functional Support\nInteract and collaborate with various stakeholders including customers (OEMs), CSC and manufacturing plants.\nEnsure effective information sharing among department members and cross-functional teams.\nPromote improvement activities related to engineering product development and definition.\nBusiness & Project Management\nPerform administrative tasks to control the complete engineering process and workflow.\nMonitor and report project progress, risks and issues, escalating where necessary.\nEnsure adherence to agreed deadlines with customers and internal stakeholders.\nRequirements:\nAcademic Background\nDegree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electromechanical.\nTechnical Skills\nSolid knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel (advanced level).\nGood knowledge of 2D Design Tools (e.g. AutoCAD or equivalent).\nKnowledge of quality tools: FMEA, PDCA and 8D methodology.\nUnderstanding of automotive engineering standards and product change management processes.\nLanguages\nAdvanced English (spoken and written) and/or German.\nSoft Skills\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills for customer and stakeholder interaction.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.\nDynamism, resilience and self-discipline.\nStrong time-management and team-working skills.\nAvailability to travel if required.\nAt Yazaki, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for everyone which extends to all aspects of the employment relationship.\nWe are looking forward to receiving your application and to get to know you.
