This role brings Yee Hong’sRelationship-CentredCarephilosophy to the dining experience while supporting a strong Food Services team and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.\nWhat You Will Do:\nSupport the Food Services Manager in overseeing daily food production and servicein accordance withlegislation, Ministry standards, and Yee Hong policies.\n\nLead, coach, and support Food Services staff to ensure effective daily operations and high-quality service.\n\nMonitor residents’ food intake, dietary needs, preferences, and concerns, collaborating with the Dietitian as needed.\n\nMeet withnew residents to understand their food preferences and dining needs.\n\nSupervise food preparation and ensure foodquality,temperatures, sanitation, and safety standards are consistentlymaintained.\n\nMaintain clean, safe, and well-functioning kitchen and dining areas.\n\nSupport food ordering, inventory management, equipment maintenance, and departmental resources.\n\nParticipate in resident care conferences and contribute to quality improvementand risk management initiatives.\n\nSupport catering and special food service functions asrequired.\n\nStay current with food service best practices and regulatory requirements.\n\nWhat You Will Bring:\nGraduate of a recognized 2-year diploma program in food services supervision ormanagement, or aBachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or Hotel Management; membership of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management; andeligiblefor membership in Ontario Society of Nutrition Management.\n\nCurrent Food Handler Safety Certificate.\n\nMinimum 1 year experience in quantity food production, supervisory experience in food production preferred.\n\nAbility to communicate in Chinese or Japanese is an asset.\n\nSatisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Screen.\n\nVacancy:\nThis is a new vacancy.\nYee Hong is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and accessible workplace.
