accountability, and dependable execution\n\nYour New Role\nWork from the company's location just outside Reno, Nevada\n\nOwn and maintain the company's accounting system, including Sage Intacct integrated with Sigma MRP or equivalent ERP platforms\n\nPerform and oversee bookkeeping, general ledger activity, revenue recognition, and expense recording\n\nPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Forecasts, and Budget vs. Actual Reports\n\nComplete account reconciliations and maintain accurate, audit-ready financial records\n\nManage project accounting and job costing\n\nTrack project revenue, labor, materials, overhead, and costs and prepare job profitability reports\n\nMonitor work-in-progress (WIP) and communicate financial and project cost trends to leadership\n\nManage accounts payable, vendor bills, payment scheduling, and cash flow prioritization\n\nOversee accounts receivable, aging, collections, and cash flow\n\nCoordinate customer invoicing based on project milestones and shipments\n\nProcess and oversee payroll, payroll taxes, garnishments, deductions, and related requirements\n\nSupport compliance with applicable federal, state, and local financial and employment requirements\n\nManage daily cash flow and develop forecasts to support operational needs\n\nMaintain banking relationships and assist leadership with financing needs\n\nMonitor expenditures against available cash and operational priorities\n\nLead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and financial analysis\n\nAnalyze financial data to identify trends, risks, cost drivers, and operational opportunities\n\nTranslate financial results into clear, actionable information for company leadership\n\nMaintain employee records, benefits tracking, onboarding documentation, and HR records\n\nSupport HR administration and related internal processes\n\nEstablish and continuously improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and financial reporting processes\n\nHelp implement scalable ERP, accounting, and administrative systems as the company grows\n\nMaintain responsibilities\n\nStrong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting\n\nExperience with job costing, manufacturing accounting, project accounting, or a comparable project-based accounting environment\n\nProficiency with Sage, Sage Intacct, or similar accounting and ERP systems\n\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills\n\nExperience preparing and interpreting financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports\n\nWorking knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management\n\nExperience overseeing or processing payroll and maintaining payroll compliance\n\nAbility to communicate financial information clearly to company leadership and other stakeholders\n\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities independently in a dynamic environment\n\nAbility to appropriately handle confidential financial and employee information\n\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred\n\nExperience in steel fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or a related industry preferred\n\nERP implementation or system migration experience preferred\n\nKnowledge of payroll regulations and labor compliance
