available\n\nOpen to candidates willing to relocate for a long-term career opportunity\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead and supervise fixed maintenance operations on-site in Mullan, Idaho\n\nOversee preventive maintenance, scheduled repairs, and emergency repairs of fixed equipment assets\n\nAssist the Fixed Maintenance Foreman and assume Foreman responsibilities when needed\n\nDirect daily work activities of maintenance mechanics and contractors\n\nEnsure compliance with preventive maintenance schedules and maintenance standards\n\nCoordinate maintenance planning and scheduling with operations and planning teams\n\nSupport emergency maintenance activities for hoists, compressors, chillers, pumping systems, and underground fixed plant infrastructure\n\nAssign work orders and monitor performance to ensure quality, productivity, and safety expectations are met\n\nParticipate in risk assessments and support the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)\n\nInspect work in progress and completed projects to ensure quality and reliability\n\nManage CMMS documentation, shift reports, timecards, and material requests\n\nTrain, coach, and develop maintenance personnel\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on maintenance efficiency and equipment reliability\n\nRequirements\nWhat You Need\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required\n\nAssociate degree from a vocational or technical school preferred\n\n3 to 5+ years of maintenance experience\n\nExperience working in an underground mining environment\n\nStrong understanding of underground hard rock mining operations\n\nKnowledge of fixed plant maintenance, preventive maintenance programs, and equipment reliability practices\n\nExperience with hoists, compressors, chillers, pumping systems, and underground infrastructure preferred\n\nPrior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred\n\nExperience coordinating maintenance planning and scheduling activities\n\nProficiency with CMMS systems and Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook\n\nStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills\n\nDemonstrated ability to work independently and lead teams
