You're developing technicians, solving technical challenges, and setting the standard for quality refrigeration service.\n\nYour Expertise Matters: Put your commercial and industrial refrigeration experience to work making decisions that directly impact field performance and customer satisfaction.\n\nTake Ownership: You'll have a direct role in managing technician productivity, service efficiency, safety, and customer relationships.\n\nKeep Growing: Stay involved with advanced refrigeration technology, ammonia refrigeration systems, HVAC-R equipment, and ongoing technician development.\n\nMake a Real Impact: Your leadership helps technicians perform better, customers stay satisfied, and operations run efficiently.\n\nYour New Role\nLocation: Arlington, TX, serving Fort Worth, Mansfield, Plano, and surrounding areas.\n\nService Areas: Arlington, Fort Worth, Mansfield, Plano, and surrounding Texas communities.\n\nLead, supervise, and mentor a team of commercial and industrial refrigeration service technicians.\n\nOversee refrigeration installations, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, retrofits, and service calls.\n\nProvide technical guidance on troubleshooting walk-in coolers, freezers, refrigerated display cases, ammonia refrigeration systems, and HVAC-R equipment.\n\nCoordinate technician schedules, work assignments, materials, and resources to keep projects on track.\n\nMonitor technician productivity, billable hours, preventive maintenance completion, and service efficiency, maintaining a field efficiency rating above 80%.\n\nReview work orders, verify timecards, manage outstanding service tickets, and ensure accurate documentation.\n\nConduct monthly quality assurance audits, vehicle inspections, and safety checks to maintain high service standards.\n\nPerform regular one-on-one meetings, field visits, and technical coaching to develop your team's skills.\n\nOversee job walks, service estimates, and quote submissions while coordinating with management and business development teams.\n\nMaintain strong relationships with key accounts through proactive communication, follow-ups, and customer service.\n\nEnsure all refrigeration work meets applicable safety regulations, industry codes, and manufacturer specifications.\n\nInvestigate safety concerns, implement corrective actions, and reinforce safe work practices.\n\nTrack operational performance, project budgets, and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.\n\nHiring Expectations: Apply today, complete a quick phone screening, and get ready for an interview with our team to discuss your goals and experience.\nRequirements\nMinimum of 5 years of experience as a service technician, preferably in commercial or industrial refrigeration.\n\nTrade school education in refrigeration, HVAC-R, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.\n\nProven ability to lead, train, mentor, and supervise refrigeration service technicians.\n\nAdvanced knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, refrigerated display cases, and HVAC-R equipment.\n\nExperience working on or around ammonia refrigeration systems.\n\nStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to resolve complex refrigeration equipment issues.\n\nHAZWOPER Certification required.\n\nRETA CIRO Certification required.\n\nUniversal EPA 608 Certification required.\n\nStrong understanding of refrigeration safety regulations, industry standards, and applicable codes.\n\nProficiency with diagnostic tools, service management software, technical manuals, and work order documentation.\n\nExcellent communication, organization, time management, and customer service skills.\n\nAbility to manage technician schedules, service deadlines, quality standards, and multiple projects simultaneously.\n\nStrong driving record and ability to travel throughout the assigned service territory.\n\nWillingness and availability to work overtime and adjust schedules based on customer and operational needs.\n\nAbility to perform field duties, including standing, walking, reaching, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds, with reasonable accommodations where applicable.\n\nAbility to work independently, make sound decisions, and hold team members accountable for results.\n\nTDI Refrigeration is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
