Our team is composed of over 130 brilliant human beings who came from all over the world to write Yepoda’s story actively.\nWe are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team at Yepoda. This role will involve overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with German accounting standards, and supporting the team as we continue to scale.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOversee day-to-day financial operations including bookkeeping, invoicing, and payment processing\n\nAssist and take ownership with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements preparation\n\nSupport during the statutory audits and ensure compliance with tax and legal regulations\n\nSupport on implementing ERP system and setting up new projects and flows from scratch on\n\nPrepare cash flow statements and monitor cash on hand\n\nCollaborate cross-functionally to support other departments with financial insights\n\nRequirements:\nDegree in Finance, Accounting, or related field\n\n6+ years of relevant work experience in finance and accounting\n\nFluent in English, German/Italian/French/Spanish are a plus\n\nStrong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on mentality\n\nProcess driven and excited about setting up new projects and flows from scratch on\n\nExperience in e-commerce and cross-border VAT is a plus\n\nKnowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and experience with Oracle Netsuite are a plus\n\nWhat We Offer\nDynamic Environment: The opportunity to work in a start-up environment surrounded by a passionate and dedicated team.\n\nAccelerate Your Career: Take on responsibility from day one, with room for professional growth and advancement as the company continues to expand.\n\nInspiring Workspace: Located in the heart of Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg, a dog-friendly office, with free drinks and snacks.\n\nHybrid Working: Work 3 days in the office and enjoy the flexibility of remote working the rest of the week.\n\nWe Value Diversity: We seek to build an inclusive workplace that welcomes people from all different backgrounds.
