This is an entry level position which starts at $18 an hour.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPerforms electrical wiring of external and internal signs consistent within specifications and electrical codes\nTests functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement\nInstalls electrical supporting systems such as brackets and tracks\nTroubleshoots and repairs faulty equipment, systems, ballasts, and bulbs\nReviews plans and diagrams to ensure accuracy of electrical & assembly of signs\nMaintains an understanding of electrical code requirements for electrical aspects of signs\nImplements and maintains quality control and safety during electrical and sign assembly \nAssembles final sign parts\n MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\n:Cleans signs\nAssures all signs are UL Approved\nAffixes electrical stickers onto signs\nPrepares, crates, and transports signs as needed\nPerforms other functions as necessary or as assigned\nNATURE OF WORK CONTACTS:\nInteracts daily with employees in the shop.\nTRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
