We are BUILT FOR THE WILD™.\nAbout the Role\nThe Accounts Payable Analyst plays a key role in supporting the end-to-end accounts payable function while driving process improvements, resolving non-routine issues, and providing insights through data analysis.\nThis role reports to the Accounts Payable Manager and partners closely with the Accounting, Planning and Procurement, and other cross-functional stakeholders to maintain strong relationships with our suppliers and to ensure vendor records are accurate and complete.\nWhat You'll Do\nManage assigned vendor accounts, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing, issue resolution, approvals, payment execution, and vendor communications in compliance with company policies and service level expectations\n\nPerform and review SAP reporting (e.g., GRIR, MRBR) to identify trends, exceptions, and process improvement opportunities\n\nInvestigate and resolve non-routine AP issues, partnering with procurement, receiving, accounting, and IT teams as needed\n\nPerform and support cash application activities, ensuring timely and accurate posting of vendor payments while investigating and resolving unapplied or misapplied cash\n\nSupport administration of the corporate travel and expense process through Concur and the corporate card program, providing end-user support and issue resolution\n\nEnsure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements across accounts payable and expense management processes\n\nSupport month-end close activities, including accrual analysis, reporting, reconciliations, and other accounting support as needed\n\nAssist in training and coaching Accounts Payable Specialists to promote consistency, quality, and professional development\n\nIdentify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls within the AP function\n\nSupport compliance activities, including vendor record maintenance (W-9s), 1099 reporting, and audit requests.\n\nContribute to special projects, system enhancements, and cross-functional initiatives that support the continued evolution of the procure-to-pay process.\n\nWhat You Bring\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred\n\n2+ years of relevant accounts payable or accounting experience\n\nExperience with SAP or similar ERP systems required\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve non-routine issues\n\nAdvanced Excel skills and ability to analyze and interpret data\n\nStrong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality\n\nAbility to work independently with general direction and manage multiple priorities\n\nEffective communication and stakeholder management skills\n\nContinuous improvement mindset with a focus on eliminating waste and driving efficiency\n\nBenefits & Perks:\nClick here to learn about the benefits and perks we offer at YETI.\nYETI is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.\nOur commitment to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture is at the center of everything we do for our employees.
