We are BUILT FOR THE WILD™.\nAbout the Role\nThe Director, IT Global Customization Technology, provides strategic leadership for YETI’s global customization capabilities, with accountability for product strategy, technology roadmap, delivery execution, platform reliability, operational performance, vendor partnerships, and organizational effectiveness.\nThis leader partners closely with Digital Commerce, Operations, Manufacturing, Customer Experience, Supply Chain, and enterprise technology teams to deliver scalable personalization capabilities that improve customer experience, support operational efficiency, and enable future business growth.\nThe Director leads a cross-functional team of product owners, business analysts, engineers, QA professionals, Scrum Masters, and external partners responsible for advancing the Customization platform and related initiatives. The role is expected to provide leadership for visual customization evolution, QA modernization, Agile delivery practices, and enterprise technology integration efforts.\nWhat You'll Do\nTechnology Strategy & Leadership\nDefine and execute the multi-year Customization technology strategy aligned to Consumer Technology and business objectives.\nDevelop integrated technology, products, and operational plans supporting growth, customer experience, and manufacturing scalability.\nEstablish platform investment priorities and technology modernization roadmaps.\nDrive innovation in product configuration, personalization, workflow automation, and digital customer experiences.\nPartner with executive leadership to align technology investments with business priorities.\nProduct Portfolio Ownership\nOwn the Customization technology portfolio, roadmap, and prioritization model.\nGovern demand intake, prioritization, funding recommendations, and capacity allocation.\nEnsure delivery efforts align with measurable business outcomes.\nBalance innovation investments, platform stability, technical debt reduction, and operational excellence.\nPartner with Digital Commerce, Operations, Manufacturing, and Customer Experience leaders to establish strategic priorities.\nDelivery & Program Governance\nProvide executive sponsorship and governance for major Customization initiatives.\nEstablish delivery frameworks, roadmaps, milestones, and success metrics.\nEnsure effective risk management, dependency management, and executive reporting.\nDrive Agile maturity and continuous improvement across teams.\nMonitor portfolio health, delivery performance, and realization of business value.\nOperational Excellence\nOwn platform reliability, scalability, performance, and support effectiveness.\nEstablish service-level objectives and operational performance measures.\nDrive continuous improvement of support processes, release management, and quality controls.\nEnsure compliance with security, architecture, governance, and change-management standards.\nLead incident review and root-cause remediation efforts.\nFinancial & Resource Management\nDevelop annual budgets, workforce plans, and investment recommendations.\nManage vendor and partner relationships supporting the Customization ecosystem.\nEvaluate sourcing strategies, including contractor and near-shore resources.\nEnsure efficient allocation of technology resources and budget.\nBuild and present business cases supporting strategic investments.\nOrganizational Leadership\nLead and develop a high-performing Customization technology organization.\nEstablish organizational objectives and performance expectations.\nBuild leadership capabilities across managers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and technical leads.\nDrive employee engagement, talent development, succession planning, and workforce capability growth.\nFoster a culture of accountability, innovation, customer focus, and continuous improvement.\nWhat You Bring\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.\nGreater than 12 years of progressive technology leadership experience.\nGreater than 8 years leading managers and cross-functional technology teams.\nExperience leading digital products, eCommerce, customer-facing platforms, or manufacturing technology solutions.\nDemonstrated success managing technology portfolios, budgets, and strategic initiatives.\nStrong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.\nPreferred\nExperience with product customization, personalization, or product configuration platforms.\nExperience supporting eCommerce and manufacturing ecosystems.\nAgile, Product Management, or SAFe certifications.\nExperience leading global and distributed teams.\nExperience with AI-enabled customer experiences and digital product innovation.\nBenefits & Perks:\nClick here to learn about the benefits and perks we offer at YETI.\nYETI is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.\nOur commitment to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture is at the center of everything we do for our employees.
