We are BUILT FOR THE WILD™.\nAbout the Role\nThe Logistics & Customs Operations Analyst II (Thailand) coordinates import/export operations, supports customs compliance execution, and ensures the efficient movement of goods into and out of an assigned country or region. This role acts as the in-country operational owner for shipment execution and documentation, while partnering closely with Global Trade Compliance (GTC) on customs broker coordination and with Product Safety & Compliance (PS&C) on regulatory requirements.\nThis position enables product testing, development timelines, and regional growth by reducing shipment delays, improving documentation accuracy, and supporting faster innovation cycles.\nWhat You’ll Do\nImport/Export Operations & Execution\nManage day-to-day coordination of inbound and outbound shipments (samples, test units, and commercial goods)\nPrepare, validate, and manage shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and supporting import/export documentation\nPartner with freight forwarders and Global Trade Compliance to ensure timely clearance and delivery\nTrack shipment status and proactively resolve delays or documentation gaps\nCustoms Process Coordination\nServe as the primary in-country point of contact for Global Trade Compliance and logistics partners\nEnsure all documentation required for customs clearance is complete, accurate, and submitted on time\nCoordinate duty/tax payments and respond to broker inquiries (translations, clarifications, document retrieval)\nRegulatory & Certification Coordination\nCoordinate with Product Safety & Compliance on local product certification and other regulatory requirements, including gathering and providing documentation for certification applications\nMaintain visibility to certification status to ensure shipments are not delayed\nShipment Tracking & Visibility\nMaintain accurate tracking of all inbound/outbound shipments and samples\nProvide regular status updates to internal stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Product, Engineering, Operations)\nProactively escalate risks to testing, development, and commercialization timelines\nMaintain shipment logs and dashboards for operational visibility\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with:Global Trade Compliance for classification, trade guidance, and compliance support\nProduct Safety & Compliance for local regulatory and certification requirements\nSuppliers and internal teams to collect documentation and align shipment readiness\n\nReduce dependency on external parties for import execution\nProcess Improvement & Risk Mitigation\nIdentify and implement process improvements to reduce clearance delays and errors\nStandardize documentation and shipment workflows\nBuild audit-ready records and ensure consistent execution\nHighlight risks related to compliance, delays, or cost inefficiencies\nWhat You Bring\nGreater than 5 years relevant experience and Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience\nDemonstrated experience in logistics, import/export operations, or supply chain within the assigned region\nStrong understanding of customs clearance processes and documentation requirements in the assigned country\nExperience working with freight forwarders and customs brokers\nFamiliarity with trade compliance concepts (HTS codes, duties, FTAs)\nStrong organizational and tracking skills with attention to detail\nAbility to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment\nFluency in English and the local language(s) of the assigned country\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with regulated imports (e.g., local product safety, standards, or telecommunications certification requirements)\nExposure to global trade compliance processes or collaboration with GTC teams\nExperience supporting product testing or development organizations\nKnowledge of ERP or shipment tracking systems\nBenefits & Perks:\nClick here to learn about the benefits and perks we offer at YETI.\nYETI is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.\nOur commitment to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture is at the center of everything we do for our employees.
