We are BUILT FOR THE WILD™.\nAbout the Role\nWe are seeking an experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Developer/Admin with deep expertise in the STIBO STEP platform. This role will be responsible for designing, building, configuring, and administering STEP to support enterprise-wide master data initiatives. The ideal candidate has hands-on STEP implementation experience, strong data modeling skills, and the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams to enhance data quality, governance, and operational efficiency.\nWhat You'll Do\nPlatform Administration:\nManage day-to-day administration of the STIBO STEP platform, including users, roles, permissions, security, and system configurations. \nMonitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate maintenance, patches, and environment upgrades. \nEnsure high availability, reliability, and performance of STEP environments (DEV/QA/PROD). \nSolution Design& Development:\nDesign and configure data models, workflows, business rules, hierarchies, and data governance processes within STEP. \nDevelop and maintain integrations between STEP and external systems using APIs, web services, ETL tools, and other integration frameworks. \nImplement data quality rules, match/merge logic, validation rules, and data enrichment processes. \nCreate and enhance STEP components such as Business Rules, Scripting (JavaScript/Java), Workflows, User Interfaces, and Data Imports/Exports. \nData Governance & Quality\nWork with business stakeholders to define master data standards, taxonomies, and governance frameworks. \nEnable data stewardship processes and support ongoing operational governance workflows. \nEnsure compliance with enterprise data quality, metadata, and lifecycle management standards. \nProject Delivery& Collaboration\nParticipate in MDM roadmap planning and contribute to STEP solution architecture. \nWork with product owners, solution architects, data engineers, and business teams to implement STEP solutions. \nDocument technical designs, configuration standards, and operational support procedures. \nProvide user training, onboarding, and guidance on STEP features and capabilities. \nWhat You Bring\n8+ years of hands-on experience with STIBO STEP MDM platform (Developer, Admin, or Architect role). \nProven experience configuring STEP components: PIM/MDM models, workflows, business rules, user portals, integrations. \nStrong understanding of MDM concepts, including taxonomy, hierarchy management, governance, and data quality. \nExperience with Java/Groovy, XML, JSON, and scripting languages within STEP. \nSolid understanding of API integrations, web services, and ETL design patterns. \nExperience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.) and SQL querying. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or in teams. \nExcellent communication and collaboration skills. \nAbility to work with cross-functional teams and translate business requirements into technical solutions. \nStrong documentation skills and attention to detail. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\nPreferred Qualifications\nSTEP certifications or STIBO partner training. \nSAP Integration and implementation experience \nSalsify PIM product experience \nExperience managing STEP upgrades or large-scale STEP implementations. \nUnderstanding of product content management (PIM) or supplier onboarding workflows. \nExperience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and DevOps practices. \nFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). \nBenefits & Perks:\nClick here to learn about the benefits and perks we offer at YETI.\nYETI is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.\nOur commitment to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture is at the center of everything we do for our employees.
