We are BUILT FOR THE WILD™.\nAbout the Role\nYETI is seeking a Shopify Developer to build, maintain and support yeti.co.jp. You will own well-defined storefront features from implementation through testing and release, and you will help resolve Shopify production defects and integration issues.\nThe site operates within YETI’s Shopify → Boomi → SAP commerce landscape. Your responsibility is the Shopify side of that environment-storefront code, apps, APIs, webhooks, configuration and data behavior. You will collaborate with senior developers and partner teams when a solution or incident extends into Boomi or SAP; you will not be expected to develop those platforms.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild and maintain Shopify themes, templates, sections and responsive storefront functionality using Liquid, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS.\nDeliver well-defined customer and business features from requirements through development, testing, deployment and documentation.\nProvide Shopify production break/fix support by reproducing defects, debugging code and configuration, reviewing API or webhook behavior, and implementing tested fixes.\nHelp troubleshoot Shopify-side order, product, pricing, inventory, fulfillment, return and refund interfaces; escalate complex architectural or downstream issues with clear diagnostic evidence.\nConfigure and maintain Shopify applications and third-party integrations while considering compatibility, performance and customer impact.\nWrite readable, maintainable code; participate in pull-request reviews; and follow established testing, Git and CI/CD practices.\nTest changes across supported devices and browsers and contribute to storefront performance, accessibility, technical SEO and security.\nCollaborate with senior developers, product, UX, QA and business partners to estimate and deliver work reliably.\nWhat You Bring\n2+ years of professional web or software development experience, andhands-on Shopify development.\nWorking proficiency with Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3 and modern JavaScript; TypeScript experience is beneficial.\nExperience developing or maintaining Shopify themes, reusable sections and storefront components.\nWorking knowledge of Shopify APIs, GraphQL or REST, webhooks, metafields/metaobjects and application integrations.\nStrong debugging and problem-solving skills, including the ability to take a well-defined issue from investigation through tested resolution.\nFamiliarity with Git, pull requests, testing and deployment workflows.\nUnderstanding of responsive design, basic web performance, cross-browser compatibility and accessible development.\nEffective written and verbal English communication and the ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team.\nPreferred\nExperience with Shopify Plus or another enterprise-scale Shopify implementation.\nExposure to Shopify Functions, Checkout Extensibility, custom applications, React or Node.js.\nExperience supporting integrations with inventory, fulfillment, ERP, payment or middleware platforms.\nBenefits & Perks:\nClick here to learn about the benefits and perks we offer at YETI.\nYETI is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.\nOur commitment to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture is at the center of everything we do for our employees.
