At Yggdrasil, you’ll find a place where your talent can thrive and where you’ll have the opportunity to be part of something truly transformative.\nIf you’re ready to help shape the future of gaming, we’d love to hear from you.\n Developing the backend and mathematical models for Game in the Box solutions, including implementation of game logic, computational systems, and integration with other system components;\nMaintaining and developing game designs used in projects;\nImplementing new game-related functionalities;\nPreparing and executing unit and integration tests;\nDesigning game functionalities in accordance with licensing regulations;\nDesigning and developing game mechanics and game projects supporting ongoing initiatives;\nCreating project and technical documentation;\nCollaborating with project teams and developers on the integration and implementation of game projects;\nConceptualizing and implementing new game projects within defined requirements and constraints;\nVerifying the correctness of game designs, ensuring their alignment and optimization;\nAnalyzing game-related data to identify new mechanics and industry trends;\nEvaluating game performance after deployment and providing insights into player behavior;\nConducting analyses to detect irregularities and proposing corrective solutions.\n 2-3 years of commercial backend development experience (e.g. Java/Kotlin/TypeScript/Node.js or C#)\nStrong mathematical skills, including a solid understanding of probability, statistics, and algorithms\nMathematical intuition and the ability to build, run, and interpret simulation results\nHands-on experience with unit and integration testing\nStrong collaboration skills and experience working in agile, cross-functional teams\nGood command of English (written and spoken)\nGenuine passion for games and commitment to delivering high-quality software\nNice to have:\nExperience with backend development for online casino / iGaming products\nFamiliarity with video slot mechanics and slot math models (RTP, volatility, hit frequency, pay tables)\nExperience designing game mechanics or mathematical models for games\nAbility to test and validate mathematical outcomes using MS Excel, programming, and proprietary tools to guarantee accuracy and quality\nUnderstanding of Docker and containerization\nUnderstanding of licensing and regulatory requirements in regulated gaming markets\nAbility to test and validate mathematical outcomes using MS Excel, programming, and proprietary tools to guarantee accuracy and quality\n Equal Opportunity:\nWe are an equal opportunity employer.
