Help with other housekeeping duties as assigned\n\nProvide backup to line personnel when they are moving aircraft in and out of the hangers\n\nOther activities and projects as approved by the Director of Maintenance or the Program/Department Manager.\n\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work of the job. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required of this position.\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n6+ years in Aircraft Sheet Metal with 3+ years in Modifications\nReading and interpreting blue prints is a must\nReading precision measuring equipment\nUse of sheet metal related shop equipmentMust meet the requirements of Airport Authority to receive a badge and have no ramp restrictions\nStarlink/GoGo Installation Experience would be a plus \nCommunication Skills:\nMust be able to read and speak English. Must be able to communicate effectively with other personnel.\nMathematical Skills:\nBasic math skills.\nReasoning Ability\nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.\nBudget Responsibility:\nAssist department managers in maintaining a specified budget.\nCertificates, Licenses, Registrations:\nA & P License desired \nMust possess and maintain a current and valid driver’s license\nComputer Skills:\nBasic computer aptitude preferred.\nPhysical Requirements\nMust be able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
