suited to an experienced Operations Specialist, Senior Operations Associate or People Operations professional who is ready to take the next step.\n\nJob Summary\n\nEmployer: YLabs\n\nJob Type: Full-time\n\nLocation: Harare, Zimbabwe\n\nCategory: Operations\n\nSalary: $17,000-$26,000 USD per year\n\nClosing Date: 2026-12-31\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage onboarding and offboarding.\n\nHandle employee requests, benefits administration and personnel records.\n\nImprove the day-to-day employee experience.\n\nIdentify ways to make people operations simpler, more responsive and more effective.\n\nManage recruitment for individual-contributor and coordinator-level positions.\n\nSupport sourcing and screening.\n\nCoordinate interviews and candidate communication.\n\nManage offer logistics and help maintain a positive candidate experience.\n\nIdentify operational gaps and develop practical solutions.\n\nCreate and improve onboarding processes and staff workflows.\n\nSupport HRIS practices and systems.\n\nManage equipment, supplies, documentation and compliance records.\n\nManage Google Workspace and other software access.\n\nWork with vendors and support contract management.\n\nBuild relationships across YLabs' distributed team.\n\nSupport staff wellness and team connection.\n\nOrganise team events and the annual retreat.\n\nUse feedback and pulse survey data to identify opportunities for improvement.\n\nWork closely with the Deputy Director, People Operations.\n\nTranslate People Operations priorities into practical execution.\n\nSurface issues and opportunities early.\n\nTake ownership of initiatives and see them through to completion.\n\nRequirements\n\n3-6 years of experience in operations, people operations, HR, administration or a related field.\n\nStrong organisational and execution skills.\n\nExperience managing multiple priorities independently.\n\nA builder's mindset and an interest in creating and improving systems.\n\nStrong people-centred judgment and discretion.\n\nExperience supporting or managing recruitment processes.\n\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.\n\nAutonomy
