Under the director of the Aquatics Director, the Aquatics Coordinator will support the mission, purpose, and goals of the YMCA, while performing the essential duties and responsibilities listed below:\nDuties include, but are not limited to:\nResponsible for daily operations of aquatics facility including supervision of staff and creating schedules\nAssist with opening and closing, attendance tracking\nRun in service training for the branch per association guidelines\nEnsure completion of all necessary reports and documents including incident and accident reports\nActively and enthusiastically support the Branch and Association goals and direction through effective completion of tasks and actively promoting and operating programs\nFilling in as needed for lifeguard and/or swim instructor shifts\nAssure safe and secure facility\nSkills/ Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or GED, 6 college credit hours or 24 months of qualifying experience\nMust possess a valid Texas Drivers' License and valid insurance\nLifeguard certification required\nAmerican Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor or YMCA Lifeguard preferred\nWater Safety Instructor or YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor preferred\nMust pass reference checks, pre-employment drug screen, background check and sex offender registry check\nPay Rate: $43,000 to $48,000/year\nAbout Us: We are a not-for-profit services Association focusing on mission driven initiatives, with a vision of building strong kids, strong families and strong communities throughout 7 Texas Counties.
