This includes following all YMCA policies and procedures related to abuse prevention, reporting concerns or incidents immediately, and maintaining appropriate boundaries with youth and members\nQualifications\n Must be at least 15 years old\nMust successfully complete, and maintain current certification, as a YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor (24 hours) prior to teaching alone or within 90 days if a current Red Cross Swim Instructor \nCurrent status in the following certifications, to be renewed annually:Professional Level CPR \nFirst Aid \nAutomatic External Defibrillator (AED) \nOxygen Administration \n\nMust complete the following trainings before working first shift and are to be renewed annually: Blood Borne Pathogens and Child Abuse Prevention. \nMust complete YMCA of Greater Charlotte New Staff Connection prior to employment \nMust complete I Create Loyalty Training within 30 days of hire \nMust successfully complete at least 4 hours teaching under the direct supervision of the Aquatics Director/Coordinator or an experienced instructor before leading a class independently \nMust present a professional, mature image, and have excellent interpersonal communication skills \nBenefits\nEmployee Assistance Program\nRetirement Contribution\nOUR YMCA CULTURE:\nOur mission and core values are brought to life by our culture.
