The role involves DFT implementation, simulation, debugging, coverage improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and mentoring of DFT engineers.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n- Develop a clear understanding of BSCAN, MBIST, Scan, ATPG, and simulation concepts.\n\n- Work on at least one of the following : MBIST Insertion, Scan Insertion, ATPG Pattern Generation and Simulation, MBIST and BSCAN Simulation.\n\n- Work with industry-standard DFT tools such as Cadence, Siemens Tessent, and Synopsys.\n\n- Perform Zero Delay and SDF Timing Simulations.\n\n- Debug simulation issues using GUI-based industry-standard simulators such as VCS, NCSim, or Xcelium.\n\n- Work with fault models including Stuck-at Fault, Transition Delay Fault (TDF), and IDDQ.\n\n- Implement techniques to improve scan test coverage.\n\n- Work on SoC-level DFT, including OCC / OPCG insertion, EDT / Compression Logic insertion, and Clock module handling for scan purposes.\n\n- Support post-silicon bring-up and production activities.\n\n- Work on tester debug activities, including analysis of shmoo plots and graphs.\n\n- Provide test-mode timing constraints to STA and Physical Design (PD) teams.\n\n- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and customer teams.\n\n- Lead, guide, and mentor junior/mid-level DFT engineers.\n\n- Participate in debugging and resolution of complex DFT issues.\n\nRequired Skills : \n\n- 3 - 15 years of hands-on experience in DFT / VLSI.\n\n- Strong understanding of BSCAN, MBIST, SCAN, ATPG, and Simulation concepts.\n\n- Hands-on experience in at least one major DFT area such as MBIST, Scan Insertion, ATPG, or DFT Simulation.\n\n- Experience with one or more industry-standard DFT tools : Cadence, Siemens Tessent, and Synopsys.\n\n- Experience with simulators such as VCS, NCSim, or Xcelium.\n\n- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.\n\n- Understanding of fault models and test coverage improvement techniques.\n\n- Experience with SoC-level DFT is preferred.\n\n- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nEducation : \n\n- B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, VLSI, or a related engineering discipline preferred.\n\nSkills\nDFT, VLSI, MBIST, ATPG, Synopsys, SoC","description_format":"text","description_chars":2512,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":3,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-25T18:04:06Z"}],"liveness":{"score":53,"band":"ok","label":"Likely open","p_open":0.85,"p_active":0.697,"p_room":0.9,"age_days":16,"expected_fill_days":24,"reasons":["seen:16","velocity","win:mid"],"computed_at":"2026-09-27T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/yo-hr-consultancy-senior-dft-engineermanager","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/yo-hr-consultancy-senior-dft-engineermanager.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-28T05:18:12Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":3541,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":1459,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-29T00:00:00Z"}}}
