This is a senior role where you will own a major product bet, mentor other engineers, and drive architectural direction-while still spending more than half of your time building.\nYou’ll work across low-latency decisioning, data pipelines, and service orchestration layers to make our platform reliable, scalable, and developer-friendly. The work spans real-time bidding systems, cloud-native infrastructure, and reproducible deployment tooling.\nWhat it takes to succeed in this role:\nYou have experience leading multi-person or even multi-team projects.\n\nYou know when to empower/influence another person or team, and when to roll up your sleeves and implement it yourself\n\nDeep systems experience. You’ve built or scaled distributed, high-throughput, low-latency systems-ideally in advertising, recommendations, or another real-time domain.\n\nStrong with compiled languages. You’re fluent in one or more of Go, Rust, C++, Scala, or Java, and write code with clarity, correctness, and performance in mind.\n\nArchitectural ownership. You can design clean interfaces, modular service boundaries, and deployment patterns that scale with product and team growth.\n\nOperational maturity. You understand observability, alerting, and reproducibility, and you treat CI/CD and infrastructure as first-class citizens.\n\nMentorship and leadership. You lead by example, elevate those around you, and turn ambiguity into clarity and action.\n\nStartup mindset. You balance strong technical standards with pragmatism-you know when to ship and when to refactor.\n\nA reasonable estimate of the current base salary range at the time of posting is below. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
