In return, we offer you great career opportunities to grow yourself in a truly global culture where respect, value creation, collaboration, integrity, and gratitude are highly valued and exhibited in everything we do.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nExecute automation and control system engineering tasks independently with minimal supervision, while collaborating closely with the Project Lead and Regional Service Manager.\n\nSupport system installation, application configuration, commissioning, field service, and troubleshooting activities for Yokogawa control systems and related automation products.\n\nConfigure, implement, and test automation solutions, including I/O configuration, control logic, interlocks, sequences, and operator interface graphics.\n\nSupport hardware installation, instrumentation wiring, loop checks, troubleshootfield and system-level issues.\n\nTroubleshoot complex control system, network, and system integration issues involving Yokogawa platforms, PLCs, computer systems, and industrial networks.\n\nIndependently manage assigned project tasks and deliverables, contributing to projects ranging from Level 1 to Level 5 in size and complexity.\n\nEnsure accuracy, completeness, and technical quality of all engineering deliverables, including drawings, databases, configuration files, and project documentation.\n\nEnsure compliance with Yokogawa quality standards, project quality plans, and documentation requirements; complete required quality records accurately and on time.\n\nPerform site visits in support of Annual Lifecycle Agreements and ongoing customer support engagements, particularly within the East ServiceRegion.\n\nProvide after-hoursand weekend customer support as requiredto meet project and operational needs.\n\nDemonstrate a solid and evolving understanding of process control concepts, automation methodologies, and industry best practices.\n\nMaintain and expand expertisein Yokogawa system architectures through formal training, hands-onproject experience, mentoring, and self-directed learning.\n\nStay current with emerging technologies and trends applicable to control systems and industrial automation.\n\nPrepare and deliver technical documentation, customer presentations, and training materials for both external customers and internal teams.\n\nDemonstrate strong time management and organizational skills; accurately report time and expenses in accordance withcompany policies.\n\nUnderstand, follow, and actively promote safe work practices in office, plant, and field environments.\n\nMinimum 65% travel to customerand project sites\n\nJ OB REQUIREMENTS\nDemonstrates a positive, proactive, and solution-oriented attitude.\n\nCommunicates effectively (verbal and written), with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nProduces clear, accurate, and professional technical documentation and reports.\n\nBuilds trust with customers and internal stakeholders through effective listening, collaboration, and follow-through.\n\nExhibitsownership, accountability, and a results-driven approach to problem-solving.\n\nManages priorities effectively across multiple assignments with minimal supervision.\n\nApplies sound technical judgment and knowwhen to escalate issues appropriately.\n\nDemonstrates a strong learning mindset and commitment to continual technical and professional improvement.\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nB.S. degree in engineering, physics, math,computer scienceor equivalent experience\n\n1year experience in process control systems, or equivalent experience\n\n1year working experience in PLC, DCS, computernetworking.\n\nWork Environment: While performing the duties of this jobthe employee is frequentlyexposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is frequentlyexposed to outdoor weather conditions, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the environment is reasonable.\nPhysical Demand: The employee is occasionally required tolift to 50 pounds, able to coordinate with the packing and shipping of hardware components.
