In return, we offer you great career opportunities to grow yourself in a truly global culture where respect, value creation, collaboration, integrity, and gratitude are highly valued and exhibited in everything we do.\nKey Responsibilities & Accountabilities:\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams for the development and implementation of robotics solutions.\nHandle system integration and testing of robotic OEM platforms (using SDKs) with Yokogawa Systems.\nEvaluate and integrate third-party systems (HW/SW) to Yokogawa Systems.\nExplore new technologies in line with customer requirement/ new use cases on robotics and develop a pilot trial methodology/ proposal.\nCollaboration with various robotics OEMs to scope out data integration, perform site trials, troubleshooting and improvements on autonomous robotics platforms.\nProvide technical support to field operators and other stakeholders.\nConduct feasibility studies for robotics implementation and value add for customers with adoption of robotics technologies.\nCarry out site survey with field risk assessment and develop appropriate implementation plans for robotics solutions.\nNeed to be up to date with the latest advancements in robotics and field inspection technologies. (ex. IIoT)\nQualification and Experience:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics / Mechatronics, Electrical/ Electronic or similar fields.\nMinimum 3 years of experience in field robotics implementation, robotics inspections, and integration of robotics platforms using OEM SDKs.\nExperience on implementation/pilot trials with autonomous inspection robotics platforms.\nExperience in project management working with interdisciplinary teams\nExperience in Oil & Gas and/or Utilities.\nCompetencies:\nProficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, MATLAB etc.\nProven experience with robotics simulation tools and environments (e.g. ROS, ROS 2) , SLAM Algorithms etc.\nFamiliarity with Git-based workflows\nStrong knowledge of the latest AI developments, with experience in AI training, data selection, and proficiency in Python for AI tasks and integration.\nStrong knowledge of robotics systems (hardware - example ExRobotics, Boston Dynamics, ANYBotics, MHI, Taurob, Deep Robotics etc), including sensor payloads and safety standards (hazardous area classifications).\nFamiliar with robot communication networking aspects - 4G,5G, On-premises/Cloud infrastructure etc.\nKnowledge of Linux Systems\nSkills:\nProficiency in spoken and written English\nStrong problem-solving skills and communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders\nFamiliar with CAD, SolidWorks etc.\nFamiliar with Industry 4.0 and IoT\nYokogawa is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
