The role also focuses on detailed Engineering, design & testing of Service Projects while complying with functional safety standards\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide ongoing support for Yokogawa ProSafe-RS and CENTUM VP Systems at Client’s site.\nPerform preventive and corrective maintenance activities for safety systems. Monitor system health, diagnostics, and alarms to ensure system healthiness\nTroubleshooting & Incident Response\nDiagnose and resolve system faults, communication failures, and hardware/software issues\nSupport emergency breakdowns and plant shutdown/startup activities\nConduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions\nSupport with execution of Modification & Upgrade Projects\nReporting to Lead Engineer/Service Manager on assigned activities\nImplement logic modifications and minor engineering updates\nFunctional Safety Compliance & adherence to standards\nExecute system upgrades, patches, migrations, and expansion projects\nEnsure proper Management of Change (MoC) procedures are followed\nSupport and execute loop checks, cause & effect validation, FAT/SAT, Testing & site commissioning activities\nMaintain system documentation including backups, as-built drawings, and logs\nPrepare service reports, incident reports, and maintenance records\nQualification & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or related field\n5-10 years of hands-on experience in Yokogawa systems support and maintenance\nStrong field experience with ProSafe-RS System is preferable\nSafety Training Certificates (DOFS)\nTUV Functional Safety Engineer Certification (Preferable)\nKey Competencies\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills\nAbility to work under pressure during Turnaround and shutdowns\nGood communication skills for coordination with operations and maintenance teams\nStrong focus on safety, reliability, and compliance\nTechnical Skills\nHands-on expertise in configuration and maintenance of Yokogawa ProSafe-RS & CENTUM System (AD Suite Experience would be an added advantage)\nKnowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, Fieldbus)\nFamiliarity with installation & troubleshooting of hardware components: controllers, I/O modules, marshalling panels, networking\nProject Report writing skills\nWork Environment\nPrimarily site-based role (Offshore & Onshore) in Yokogawa installations in Qatar\nRequires on-call support or emergency response availability\nYokogawa is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
