We are looking for someone who can grow into a full contributorona multidisciplinary engineering team.\nWhat You Will GetToDo\nWork with automation, controls, software, manufacturing, and process engineers to design, build, test, and improve industrial analyzer systems.\n\nDevelop and support PLC-based control systems for pumps, valves, heaters, sensors, instruments, and other electromechanical equipment.\n\nCreate and maintain HMI/SCADA applications used tooperateanalyzer systems, visualize real-time data,monitorsystem health, and interact with proprietary analysis software.\n\nIntegrate instrumentation, analyzers, industrial communication devices, control hardware, and software systems into complete working products.\n\nSupport manufacturing builds, factory acceptance testing, customer installations, commissioning, and startup activities.\n\nAssistwith electrical and controls-related design tasks, including I/O mapping, deviceselection, wiring documentation, system checkout, and troubleshooting.\n\nHelp improve engineering standards, documentation, test methods, troubleshooting procedures, and internal tools.\n\nRequirements\nB.S. in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, chemical engineering, mechatronics, systems engineering, or a related technical discipline; or equivalent relevant experience.\n\nProgramming or scripting experience using Python, Java, structured text, C#, JavaScript, or a similar language.\n\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills, especially with systems that combine hardware, software, instrumentation, and process equipment.\n\nHands-on technical aptitude and willingness to work directly with equipment during build, test, and troubleshooting activities.\n\nSelf-motivated, organized, and capable of independently learning new tools, technologies, and concepts.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to work effectively with engineers, technicians, manufacturing personnel, software developers, and project stakeholders.\n\nWillingness to travel approximately 20-25% for customer installations, commissioning, startup support, training, and related field activities.\n\nBonus Qualifications\nA few of these are helpful, but none are required:\nExperience with HMI/SCADA platforms, especially Inductive Automation Ignition.\n\nExperience programming PLCs, especially Rockwell / Allen-Bradley systems.\n\nFamiliarity with industrial automation hardware, instrumentation, control panels, I/O systems, sensors, actuators, pumps, valves, or heaters.\n\nExperience with databases, industrial communication protocols, data acquisition, or process control concepts.\n\nExperience with electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, I/O lists, manufacturing support, commissioning, or field service.\n\nYokogawa is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
