The Development Engineer is responsible for learning the various phases of tire development including the design of experiments, testing and analysis of results.\nResponsibilities\nConduct basic projects including benchmarking, product enhancement and line expansions.\nFollow and implement already developed project plans.\nTrack project expenses versus an existing budget.\nCheck mold drawings and assure adherence to design standards.\nSet up experimental designs to meet performance targets with assistance.\nWork with tire manufacturing groups to build and verify experimental tire builds.\nGenerate test requests, oversee tire testing and summarize test results.\nIssue development project interim and final reports.
