or visa sponsorship.\nFull-time role.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead the design, development, and integration of electrical and mechanical systems for humanoid robots.\nOwn hardware projects from initial concept and prototyping through testing, manufacturing, and real-world deployment.\nDevelop new robot form factors and hardware solutions for various applications.\nRapidly prototype, test, and iterate on hardware designs based on changing requirements and deployment feedback.\nLead and mentor other hardware engineers, providing technical guidance, design reviews, and troubleshooting support.\nManage hardware project timelines, establish milestones, and ensure engineering deliverables are completed on schedule.\nWork closely with the operations team to coordinate hardware requirements, deployment schedules, and project deliverables.\nCollaborate with software, robotics, and operations teams to ensure successful system integration and deployment.\nIdentify technical risks, resolve hardware issues, and remove blockers to keep projects moving forward.\nWork with vendors and manufacturers to source components, manage lead times, and ensure parts are available to meet project deadlines.\nDevelop testing, validation, and documentation processes to improve hardware reliability and repeatability.\nImprove existing robot designs for manufacturability, serviceability, cost, and performance.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nStrong experience designing and integrating complex electromechanical systems or robotic platforms.\nExcellent knowledge of electrical engineering, including power distribution, circuit design, PCB development, and system integration.\nExperience taking hardware products from early prototypes through manufacturing, testing, and deployment.\nExperience working at a startup or an established deep-tech or robotics company, preferably with experience owning projects or leading technical initiatives.\nExperience leading engineering projects, coordinating technical teams, and managing multiple priorities.\nProven ability to manage project timelines, meet deadlines, and deliver functional hardware on schedule.\nExperience working cross-functionally with operations teams to coordinate hardware deliverables and deployment readiness.\nStrong hands-on engineering and troubleshooting ability for both electrical and mechanical systems.\nExperience with hand tools and disassembly, assembly, testing, and documentation of systems.\nExperience with Linux-based operating systems (ROS 2 especially).\nExperience with computer assembly and bandwidth architecture (USB and PCIe standards).\nStrong skills in CAD, embedded systems, and hardware integration.\nExperience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Onshape, or similar).\nExperience with ECAD software (Altium Designer, KiCad, or similar).\nExperience with typical humanoid systems (BLDC actuators, CAN bus, lithium-based batteries, motor controllers, and sensors).\nExperience with embedded communication protocols (CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet).\nUnderstanding of power electronics, battery management systems, and electrical safety.\nExperience with mechanical design, tolerance analysis, and GD&T.\nUnderstanding of design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA), including machining, 3D printing, and fabrication processes.\nUnderstanding of industrial requirements (IP ratings, MTBF, reliability, and environmental testing).\nStrong understanding of hardware regulations, industry standards, and compliance requirements, with the ability to design, test, and validate robotic systems to meet applicable safety and regulatory standards.\nExperience developing hardware validation plans, conducting failure analysis, and improving system reliability.\nExperience with component sourcing, vendor management, and manufacturing coordination.\nAbility to create and maintain engineering documentation, including BOMs, assembly instructions, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to make practical engineering decisions under tight timelines.\nAbility to
