In this highly collaborative role, you’ll work alongside event leads and other cross functional team members to support the planning and execution of member-facing events and meetings. From coordinating event logistics and managing registration platforms to supporting on-site operations, you'll play an important role in bringing our events to life and creating positive experiences for our members and attendees.\nWe're looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys the planning and logistics behind successful events, and loves bringing people together. Be part of the team that brings MEMA's events to life!\nWhat You'll Do\nSupport the planning and execution of meetings, conferences, and events, including coordination with venues, vendors, speakers, sponsors, and attendees.\nCoordinate day-to-day conference center operations, including meeting room preparation, audiovisual needs, and event logistics.\nBuild and maintain event registration platforms, websites, and other digital event tools.\nMaintain accurate member and event data, prepare reports, and analyze attendee feedback to support event planning and improvements.\nSupport member outreach, event registration, and communications to encourage participation and engagement.\nWhat You'll Bring\nAt least 1-2 years of relevant experience in event support, hospitality, administration, marketing, communications, or a related field. Relevant internships or comparable experience may be considered. Experience working at or with membership associations or in the automotive industry is a plus but not required.\nAn associate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\nStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\nExcellent communication skills and a professional, service-oriented approach.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nWhat We Offer\nAt MEMA, you'll enjoy a highly collaborative, hybrid work environment based out of our Southfield, Michigan office where teamwork, professional growth, and making an impact are highly valued.
