migration or retirement of legacy components.\nInvestigate and resolve production incidents, document findings and implement corrective actions.\nPerform code analysis, testing and validation to ensure system stability during transition phases.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute change requests and release activities.\nProduce clear technical documentation for supported systems and for knowledge transfer activities.\nQualifications\nVery strong knowledge of COBOL and experience working on mainframe platforms.\nPractical experience with PL/I in a production or maintenance context.\nExperience supporting legacy systems and participating in sunset/decommissioning projects.\nProven ability to troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.\nGood communication skills and ability to work effectively within technical teams.\nRelevant technical education or equivalent professional experience in mainframe development and
