The role requires extensive hands-on experience with Java and Flowable within microservices architectures, and the ability to collaborate with multiple technology teams to translate business requirements into scalable global solutions.\nNote: This is a hybrid model arrangement with at least 3 days weekly in the office in Cracow.\nResponsibilities\nAssume responsibility for tasks transferred from another vendor, ensuring continuity and knowledge transfer.\nDesign, develop, and implement new functionalities using Java, Flowable, Spring Boot and related technologies.\nMaintain and support existing applications, diagnosing and resolving production issues in a timely manner.\nContribute to architecture and design discussions for microservices and data streaming solutions.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, architects, and operations, to deliver robust solutions.\nApply AI-assisted software development tools and practices to improve productivity and code quality.\nQualifications\nExtensive experience (more than 15 years) in Java development, with demonstrable expertise in Flowable and Spring Boot, ideally in a banking industry.\nStrong knowledge of ORM frameworks such as JPA and iBatis.\nExperience with security technologies including Azure AD and OAuth.\nPractical experience with Kafka and data streaming architectures; expertise in high-throughput, real-time systems is required.\nFamiliarity with databases and caches including CosmosDB, PostgreSQL and Redis.\nProficiency in building and consuming REST APIs and working within Azure cloud environments.\nExperience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.\nBuild and dependency management experience with Maven and Gradle.\nDeep understanding of computer science fundamentals and modern software development lifecycle practices.\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and to work effectively across distributed teams.\nExperience applying AI-assisted development tools in the software development process.\nBenefits\nFlexibility regarding working hours.
