The ideal person in this role has strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Kubernetes/GKE, and brings solid SRE or production engineering experience to maintain and evolve a secure, observable, and automated platform. Strong mid-level candidates with proven practical experience will also be considered.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, build and maintain infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform using Terraform and best-practice IaC patterns.\nDevelop and own CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related tooling to automate delivery and testing workflows.\nOperate and improve Kubernetes workloads on GKE, including deployment patterns, scaling, and troubleshooting.\nImplement and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure production reliability and actionable insights.\nParticipate in incident management and on-call rotations, applying SRE practices such as SLIs, SLOs and post-incident reviews.\nDefine and enforce security and compliance controls: IAM, least privilege, secrets management, network controls and firewall rules.\nCollaborate with engineering teams to define platform standards, automations, and runbooks that enable developer productivity.\nContinuously evaluate and integrate tools for vulnerability scanning, policy-as-code, and runtime security.\nQualifications\nStrong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform in production environments.\nVery good knowledge of Terraform and experience managing Terraform at scale.\nPractical experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.\nDeep Kubernetes / GKE experience including cluster operations, workload management and debugging.\nSolid understanding of GCP IAM, VPC networking, firewall rules and cloud security principles.\nExperience designing CI/CD systems and automating delivery pipelines.\nProduction experience with monitoring, logging and observability tooling and practices.\nBackground operating cloud platforms in production, ideally in an SRE or production engineering capacity.\nHands-on exposure to incident management, on-call responsibilities, and reliability engineering practices (SLIs/SLOs).\nStrong understanding of secrets management, least-privilege design and cloud compliance controls.\nFluent English and the ability to work independently within a distributed team.\nSeniority: preferred Senior with at least 7 years of commercial experience;
