The person in this role will bridge business stakeholders, Product Management, Master Data/MDM and Analytics/BI to ensure business rules, data requirements and data quality are defined, validated and ready for technical implementation.\nResponsibilities\nGather and document business requirements, use cases and business rules in collaboration with stakeholders.\nTranslate business rules into clear, actionable data requirements for analytics and engineering teams.\nIdentify the data attributes required to support compatibility and recommendation logic and map these attributes to source systems.\nProfile and assess data availability, completeness, consistency and quality using hands-on analysis.\nIdentify data gaps, root causes, dependencies and risks; propose and prioritise remediation actions.\nCoordinate data correction, enrichment and remediation activities with Product Management, MDM and source-system owners.\nValidate that data is fit for purpose prior to BI implementation and support testing cycles.\nSupport sustainable data governance by defining ownership, common definitions, quality standards and stewardship processes.\nCoordinate stakeholders to maintain visibility of priorities, risks, decisions and delivery milestones.\nQualifications\nAt least 5 years (Senior) or 10 years (Expert) of practical experience as a Data Business Analyst, Data Analyst or in a similar role.\nProven ability to translate business requirements into precise data requirements and business rules.\nHands-on experience with data profiling and analysis, ideally using SQL and Excel / Power Query.\nExperience working with master data, product data and data quality within PIM/MDM environments.\nSolid understanding of data governance topics, including ownership, definitions, quality rules and stewardship.\nStrong stakeholder management skills and experience coordinating business and IT stakeholders without formal authority.\nExcellent documentation, analytical thinking and communication skills.\nFluent English.\nNice to Have\nExperience with STEP and/or Stibo Systems.\nFamiliarity with Snowflake or Databricks.\nKnowledge of aftermarket, spare parts or Parts & Accessories domains.\nExperience with product compatibility or installed-base data.\nPrevious collaboration with Power BI or BI development teams.\nExposure to recommendation engines
