This role is open to candidates from Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering disciplines, ranging from fresh graduates to mid-career professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in project management, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive, can-do attitude. Experience in the power plant industry or large-scale industrial projects is highly advantageous.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nProject Management:\n\nPlan, coordinate, and execute projects from feasibility studies through commissioning and handover.\n\nDevelop and implement project management strategies to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects.\n\nLiaising/ collaborating with Local Authorities and Regulators in the consultations, submissions, and securing the necessary permits and approvals for the projects.\n\nMonitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.\n\nProvide progress updates to leadership.\n\nTechnical Support:\n\nPrepare project technical specifications, evaluate tenders, and liaise with vendors and contractors.\n\nConduct site inspections and oversee construction, installation, and commissioning activities.\n\nCompliance & Documentation:\n\nEnsure adherence to regulatory standards, safety codes, and company quality requirements.\n\nEnsure contractors fulfil statutory obligations, securing necessary permits and approvals.\n\nPrepare reports, maintain project documentation, and support audits.\n\nCollaboration:\n\nWork closely with internal teams, regulators, and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n\nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering from a recognised institution.\n\nFresh graduates are welcome; candidates with 5-8 years power plant or industrial project experience will have an advantage.\n\n OTHER INFORMATION\n Skills:\n\nStrong project management and organisational skills.\n\nProficient in MS Office and familiar with modern engineering software/tools.\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team, covering both site-based and desk-bound tasks.\n\nGood knowledge of Singapore Standards, Codes of Practice, and statutory requirements.\n\nPositive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn.\n\nCommitment to safety and quality standards.\n\n Please note that your application will be sent to and reviewed by the direct employer - YTL PowerSeraya Pte.
