Inviting applications for the role of Technical Architect.\n\nAbout the Role\nArchitects at Yubi are responsible to lead, evangelise and drive technology. Along with designing and architecting robust and scalable software systems, they are the ambassadors of best software engineering practices. They go above and beyond their roles to take ownership in solving complex software problems which have an organization wide impact. With a customer first attitude, they design software systems which fuels the technology infrastructure to power the global debt market.\nResponsibilities\nTake ownership of business critical technical problems and strategically drive to meet the goals by seeing the bigger picture\n\nProvide technical leadership in org wide initiatives and work collaboratively with product, marketing and other engineering teams.\n\nParticipate in code & design reviews and setup best practices in software design and development\n\nServe as a mentor to junior engineers and cultivate innovation by driving execution of projects across multiple teams.\n\nLead the design, architecture and development of software components, systems, and features.\n\nEvaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes and drive adoption to ensure the highest quality products and solutions.\n\nParticipate in technical hiring activities to tap the best talent for Yubi\n\nRequirements\nOverall, 15-20 years of proven experience with building scalable, fault-tolerant and highly available systems. \n\nVery strong system design and object oriented skills with ability to design complex software architecture with clean interfaces and abstractions\n\nSound understanding of CS fundamentals with deep knowledge of algorithms, data structures, software architectures, design patterns and distributed systems\n\nProficient in any of the high level programming languages: Java, C++, Python, Ruby, Go, C#, JavaScript\n\nDeep problem solving skills with a proven track record of successful execution of large software solutions\n\nExperience architecting and developing solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact.\n\nDemonstrate significant technical breadth with exposure to a wide variety of technology spaces, new trends and ability to suggest right tools for the right problems.\n\nContribution to open source software is a bonus \n\nPrevious experience with a high growth startup is a plus but not a must have\n\nExperience with Generative AI technologies to accelerate development and engineer productivity is a key plus.\n\nBenefits\nWe are committed to creating a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
