Check out ourLife at Yubico Page on LinkedIn and our awardshere.\nThe Role\nAre you an experienced operations leader who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys being close to the operation and the team?\nAsSenior Operations Manager you will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient execution of Yubico’s day-to-day operations at our Stockholm site, covering production, programming, laser marking, product customisation, inventory management, warehouse operations, and order fulfilment and despatch.\nThis is a hands-on operational leadership role. You will set priorities, solve problems, develop people, and ensure the operation consistently delivers against customer and business commitments. You will have overall responsibility for operational performance across safety, quality, service, inventory accuracy, productivity, cost, and people development, while building the processes and capabilities required to support Yubico’s continued growth.\nYou will lead a team of approximately 9 people today, with expected growth to around 12, and will work closely with colleagues across Supply Chain and the wider organisation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Stockholm, five days per week.\nSuccess in the role means that the operation delivers reliably every day while continuously improving. Customer orders leave on time and at the expected quality, inventory is accurate, risks and problems are addressed early, and the team understands its priorities and takes ownership of performance. At the same time, you will build the people, processes, systems, and capabilities needed for Yubico’s operations to scale successfully.\nTasks & Responsibilities:\nTake overall responsibility for day-to-day operational execution across production/programming, inventory, warehouse, fulfilment, and despatch, ensuring orders are produced and shipped accurately and within agreed service levels.\n\nSet daily and weekly priorities and allocate people, equipment, materials, and resources based on demand, capacity, inventory availability, and wider Supply Chain requirements.\n\nStay close to the operation, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks, disruptions, and operational issues, including the execution of large, unusual, or time-critical orders.\n\nEnsure materials, equipment, and workstations are available and ready to support production and fulfilment requirements.\n\nManage relevant third-party operational suppliers and temporary staffing partners, including local procurement, kitting, external production, and seasonal workforce requirements.\n\nOwn operational KPIs across safety, quality, service, productivity, inventory accuracy, and cost, using structured daily management to identify deviations and drive corrective action.\n\nUse data, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions to resolve performance issues and prevent recurrence.\n\nDrive continuous improvement across workflows, material flow, workplace organisation, capacity utilisation, and productivity.\n\nDevelop and maintain standardised processes, SOPs, and working practices that improve reliability, scalability, and operational discipline.\n\nIdentify and support opportunities to improve operations through new technology, equipment, and automation.\n\nOwn inventory accuracy and ensure alignment between physical inventory and Yubico’s ERP/WMS records.\n\nEnsure effective processes across receiving, storage, replenishment, material movement, picking, packing, and despatch.\n\nMaintain robust cycle-counting and inventory-control processes, ensuring discrepancies are investigated and sustainably resolved.\n\nEnsure appropriate handling, storage, traceability, and security of products and materials, both internally and through external partners.\n\nContinuously improve warehouse layout, material flows, and utilisation of available space.\n\nEnsure operations comply with Yubico’s safety, quality, security, and privacy requirements.\n\nBuild a strong safety culture by proactively identifying hazards, addressing risks, and maintaining appropriate working practices.\n\nEnsure quality requirements are embedded into daily operations and that deviations are identified, documented, investigated, and resolved.\n\nPartner with Quality, Security, and other relevant functions on investigations, audits, and improvement activities.\n\nMaintain a safe, clean, organised, and professional operational environment.\n\nLead, coach, and develop the Operations team, setting clear expectations, accountability, and priorities while fostering a collaborative and high-performing working environment.\n\nOwn workforce and capacity planning, including recruitment, temporary staffing, and ensuring the right competencies are available to meet operational requirements.\n\nBuild capability and resilience through training, cross-training, regular feedback, and individual development.\n\nManage performance effectively while developing future operational leaders and creating appropriate ownership within the team.\n\nFoster a culture where problems are surfaced early, people take ownership, and continuous improvement is part of everyday work.\n\nEnsure disciplined and accurate use of ERP, WMS, and other operational systems, with system transactions accurately reflecting physical operations.\n\nAct as a key operational stakeholder for changes to systems, equipment, and processes affecting production, inventory, and fulfilment.\n\nWork closely with Supply Chain Development and Operational Excellence to design, implement, and embed scalable operational processes.\n\nAnticipate future capacity, space, equipment, technology, and organisational requirements as operational volumes and complexity increase.\n\nWork closely with Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service, Quality, Engineering, IT, Security, and other functions to ensure effective end-to-end execution.\n\nProvide clear visibility of operational performance, capacity, constraints, and risks to Supply Chain leadership and relevant stakeholders.\n\nPartner with Planning to translate demand and supply requirements into executable production and fulfilment plans.\n\nContribute operational expertise to broader Supply Chain projects and collaborate with colleagues across Yubico’s global operations to share and develop best practices.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\nSignificant experience leading hands-on warehouse, fulfilment, production, manufacturing, or similar operations, with end-to-end responsibility for daily operational performance.\n\nStrong track record of leading, coaching, and developing front-line operational teams, including workforce planning, performance management, and recruitment.\n\nStrong practical understanding of inventory management, warehouse operations, order fulfilment, and production or light-manufacturing environments.\n\nProven ability to manage operations through KPIs, structured problem solving, root-cause analysis, standardised processes, and continuous improvement.\n\nComfortable working directly with front-line teams while also managing broader operational priorities, stakeholders, and development initiatives.\n\nStrong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced operational environment.\n\nStrong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to provide clear visibility of operational performance, risks, and requirements.\n\nExperience working with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems; experience with NetSuite / NetSuite WMS is an advantage.\n\nStrong spreadsheet, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills.\n\nPractical experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous-improvement methodologies is an advantage.\n\nExperience with warehouse or production automation is an advantage.\n\nRelevant higher education in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field is an advantage; equivalent operational
