Your deep understanding of student needs will guide your team in creating vibrant, successful communities that stand out.\nRequirements\nHere’s what you’ll be doing!\nProvide leadership and guidance to property teams across multiple locations, ensuring efficient operations and staff development.\nOversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of property staff, fostering a high-performing and engaged workforce.\nConduct regular property visits to monitor operations, ensure compliance, and support property managers in achieving goals.\nCollaborate with property managers to optimize rent collections, reduce delinquencies, and ensure adherence to legal and company policies.\nReview financial reports, monitor budgets, and identify opportunities to enhance property value while controlling expenses.\nImplement and oversee strategic marketing and leasing initiatives to maintain high occupancy levels and competitive positioning in the market.\nPrepare and present regular reports on property performance, financial metrics, and market trends to ownership and senior management.\nManage vendor relationships, ensuring adherence to contracts and high-quality service for maintenance, repairs, and capital improvements.\nEnsure all properties meet safety, cleanliness, and aesthetic standards through regular inspections and facilities management.\nAddress resident concerns and foster a positive community environment by providing timely and effective solutions.\nPartner with senior management to execute long-term strategies that promote financial growth and operational success.\nEnsure compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations, including Fair Housing and employment laws.\nCommunicate regularly with corporate teams to provide updates on property performance and recommend areas for improvement.\nDevelop yearly operating budgets/forecasts.\nAnd so much more!\nBenefits\nSound good so far? Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role!\nBachelor’s degree in business, a related field, or its equivalent, preferred. In lieu of degree, equivalent experience in residential properties, rental operations, or related business operations is required\nMinimum of five years’ supervisory experience, preferably in residential properties, rental operations, or related business operations required\nRelevant experience running a property, even better at a university/college\nTravel up to 80%, including overnight and multi-day trips to multi-state locations\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain quality relationships\nExperience within a fast paced, target driven environment with strong focus on sales and marketing \nBe proficient in working with technology and adaptable to online systems\nDriver’s license required\nCarbon Literacy Certification or willingness to undertake training \nHere’s a snapshot of what we offer!\nCompetitive salary of $100,000 - $125,000 / year\nGenerous benefits package!
