Yumifys is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support our administrative and operational activities. The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, reviewing, and maintaining information within company systems, spreadsheets, databases, and other digital records.
The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable using computers, attentive to detail, and capable of completing assignments accurately within established deadlines.
Key responsibilities
Enter and update large volumes of data into company databases with a focus on speed and accuracy.
Perform data validation checks to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.
Generate and maintain Excel reports, spreadsheets, and data extracts for various stakeholders.
Respond to internal and external inquiries, providing courteous customer service and data-related assistance.
Collaborate with team members to improve data entry processes and documentation.
Ensure compliance with data security and confidentiality policies.
Track and document workflow metrics to support continuous improvement.
Required qualifications
1-5 years of hands-on data entry experience.
Proficient typing skills (minimum 70 WPM) with high accuracy.
Strong command of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, filters, and pivot tables.
Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to perform data validation.
Experience with database management and basic query functions.
Excellent written and verbal customer service skills.
Nice to have
Familiarity with data entry automation tools or macros.
Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., finance, healthcare).
Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR or CCPA.
Basic understanding of SQL or other query languages.
