You will own the technical direction and delivery of a critical piece of our infrastructure, while growing and developing your team in a fast-moving, global environment.\nYour Contribution Will Be\nLead the technical evolution of Yuno's merchant experience, focused on Core platform, APIs, and payment integrations.\nOwn system and integration architecture connecting backend services and payment flows.\nContribute hands-on to development, architecture decisions, and code reviews.\nEnsure scalable, maintainable, and well-documented solutions for enterprise merchants.\nCollaborate with Product, Backend, and Payments teams to align platform and merchant needs.\nDrive engineering best practices in API design, testing, and performance.\nSupport and mentor engineers through technical guidance and architectural direction.\nSkills You Need\nMinimum Qualifications\nProven experience managing and growing engineering teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.\nStrong ability to drive technical decision-making and manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.\nExperience in payments companies , payments-related teams or with PSP integrations.\nDeep experience in payments infrastructure, including network tokens, routing, and transaction optimization.\nExcellent communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nSolid hands-on backend engineering experience, with proficiency in Java, Golang, Kotlin or similar languages.\nStrong understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures, APIs, and integration patterns.\nExperience with SQL and relational databases.\nKnowledge of secure software development practices and OWASP principles.\nChampion of AI-first development - experience setting standards for AI-assisted coding, automated testing, and code generation using LLMs and tools like Claude Code or similar.\nExperience delivering in agile environments, adapting processes to what actually works for the team.\nAdvanced English;
