Working closely with our engineering team, you'll create and maintain ERP part numbers, bills of materials (BOMs), and engineering records that support procurement, manufacturing, and operations. Over three decades, our core values have shaped a supportive and creative environment that emphasizes employee engagement, technical excellence, and strong customer relationships.\nTo learn more about who we are and what it’s like to work at GeoSpectrum, we invite you to watch our company video by visiting www.geospectrum.ca.\nResponsibilities\nEngineering to ERP Data ManagementReceive inputs from the engineering team, including drawings, CAD models, specifications, and engineering BOMs.\nCreate and maintain part numbers, descriptions, attributes, and structure in the ERP system.\nBuild, review, and release accurate bills of materials (BOMs) in the ERP system based on engineering inputs.\nEnsure ERP data accurately reflects engineering intent, revisions, and approved configurations.\nManage basic engineering change updates in the ERP system in coordination with engineering.\n\nCAD & Documentation Support\nMaintain and organize basic CAD files such as standard hardware libraries (fasteners, purchased parts, common components).\nEnsure consistency between CAD libraries, drawings, and ERP part records.\nSupport standardization efforts for part naming, numbering, and documentation.\n\nData Quality & Process ImprovementMaintain high standards for data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.\nIdentify gaps, errors, or inefficiencies in engineering-to-ERP workflows and suggest improvements.\nSupport documentation of processes related to part creation, BOM management, and data handoff.\n\nQualifications\nMechanical or Electrical Technologist or equivalent practical experience.\nExperience working with an ERP system - SAGE 300 experience an asset.\nExperience creating, reading and interpreting engineering drawings, BOMs, and basic CAD outputs.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nClear written and verbal communication skills\nSecurity Requirements\nAll candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain Canadian Controlled Goods and Canadian Government Security clearances.\nTotal Rewards\nWe recognize that our people are our most valuable asset.
