This role provides frontline leadership to a team of manufacturing employees, coordinates workflow and resources, monitors production performance, and promotes a culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and teamwork. The Manufacturing Team Lead serves as the primary point of contact on the production floor, ensuring that production schedules are achieved while maintaining compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.\nCore Responsibilities\nThe core responsibilities of the Manufacturing Team Lead is to build on the responsibilities of the Coordinator role.\nPeople Leadership\nRole model andachampionof GeoSpectrum’sculture, and values.\nLead, coach, and support a team of production employees to achieve operational objectives.\nMonitor workflow, team staffing levels, and resource allocation to maximize productivity.\nParticipate in recruitment, onboarding and performance evaluations.\nContribute to employee engagement through team building, recognition, training, and performance management.\nAssist with performance management activities, including goal setting, coaching, and disciplinary actions when required. Provide on-the-job mentorship, coaching and feedback.\nReview weekly timesheets and manage attendance.\nAddress basic level Employee Relation matters (with the support of Management and HR).\nEnsure occupational health and safety education, compliance, and reporting.\nParticipate and practice ongoing leadership skill development.\nOperational Management\nSupport management with executing department goals, priorities and resourcing\nCoordinate daily manufacturing activities to meet production schedules, quality requirements, and delivery commitments. Lead team standups and report on metrics.\nTrain, mentor, and develop team members to enhance performance and technical capability.\nOversee daily operations to provide support for productivity on deliverables, effective communication, questions, and escalations.\nEnsure compliance with established policies, processes, SOPs, and manufacturing best practices.
