Over three decades, our core values have shaped a supportive and creative environment that emphasizes employee engagement, technical excellence, and strong customer relationships.\nTo learn more about who we are and what it’s like to work at GeoSpectrum, we invite you to watch our company video by visiting www.geospectrum.ca.\nResponsibilities\nParticipate in the design, development, and testing of winch and cable handling products and acoustic systems, including supporting the creation of detailed plans and specifications to meet project requirements\nCreate detailed electrical drawings for wire runs, panel layouts, rack assemblies and circuit designs\nCreate and maintain BOMs\nDraft schematics that accurately represent the electrical components and connections\nSupport the design, build and test of electronic components and sub-assemblies, including: wiring harnesses, electronics enclosures, racks and Printed Circuit Boards (PCB)\nMaintain and update project files and documentation.\nCollaborate within multidisciplinary teams t achieve shared project objectives.\nEnsure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines\nAssist in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues\nQualifications\nDiploma in Engineering Technology or a related field. \nAt least 10 years of experience engineering technology and design.\nStrong experience with electrical CAD software, including AutoCAD Electrical and SolidWorks.\nStrong Experience in generating engineering documentation, wiring schematics and BOMs.\nExperience creating electro-mechanical assemblies and electronic racks.\nExperience with specifying and commissioning PLC based motor control systems using variable frequency and servo motor drives.\nKnowledge of relevant industry safety regulations and standards.\nPractical design testing experience.\nCompetent with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.\nPassionate about build and test and producing a quality product.\nGood teamwork and communication skills.\nSecurity Requirements\nAll candidates must be eligible to apply for and maintain Canadian Controlled Goods and Canadian Government Security Clearances.\nTotal Rewards\nWe recognize that our people are our most valuable asset.
