We're hiring a Release Manager to own how changes reach production across our global regions. You'll be the single point of ownership for release coordination, change management, and the evidence trail behind it.\n****This is a hands-on role: you'll build and mature the process as well as run it.\nLocation\nZact is a global company with multiple locations across US, Europe and India.\nWe provide 100% Remote Working Option.\nCandidates applying for this role should be located in India;\nWhat you'll do\nCoordinate releases from multiple project streams into production across global regions, owning the master release calendar and go/no-go reviews \nEstablish and run the Change Advisory Board (CAB), ensuring every production change has an approved ticket, test evidence, and proper sign-off \nManage the release path through pre-prod and UAT, resolving environment conflicts and monitoring drift from production \nOwn the change management control and its audit evidence for internal audit, external auditors, and bank client reviews \nLead post-release verification, publish release notes, and report on deployment frequency, change failure rate, and rollback rate \nWork with engineering and DevOps to improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation \nWhat you'll bring\n5 to 7 years in release management, change management, DevOps, or a related role, including 3+ years in an engineering-adjacent function\nExperience establishing or maturing a release and CAB process, not only following one\nWorking knowledge of Jira and GitHub Actions or comparable CI/CD tooling\nExperience in a regulated or audited environment (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or similar)\nStrong communicator who can hold the line on process while staying a pragmatic partner to engineering\nAvailability during US hours, with occasional deployments in India hours\nNice to have\nMulti-region or global deployment experience \nFintech, payments, or banking technology background \nITIL or equivalent framework familiarity \nWorking Hours\n Standard shift, US business hours (Eastern or Central preferred for bank client coverage)\n ~2-hour overlap with India team at start of US
