This position is contingent upon contract award, and the start date will align with the program start.\nWhat you'll do:\nOwn the platform architecture across on-premises vSphere and AWS, including where each workload belongs\nLead environment-as-code and the self-service environment catalog\nSet platform guardrails, standards and the tooling baseline\nLead the platform engineers and work alongside the infrastructure and cyber leads\nPlan the move to VMware Cloud Foundation 9 and the Atlassian successor path\nMust have:\n10 years in cloud and infrastructure engineering\nHands-on Terraform, Ansible and GitLab CI\nBuilt automated provisioning inside a DoD RMF-authorized boundary or at IL4 or higher\nU.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and keep the background investigation DHA designates for this position\nDoD 8140 qualification for your work role before privileged access, or the ability to earn it within six months\nNice to have:\nAWS or VMware professional-level certification\nAn active Secret clearance or higher\nExperience with health IT or test environments\nLocation: Chantilly, Virginia, on site at the test center, with work at the Ashburn, Virginia data center as needed.\nCitizenship: U.S. citizenship is required for the investigation this role needs.
