Your work will have a tangible impact on how we manage capacity, allocate resources, and maintain the seamless delivery experience that our customers expect.\nWHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)\nDevelop and implement forecasting and planning software to enhance decision-making and optimise capacity allocation\n\nCreate clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code for Logistics Network planning projects\n\nTake responsibility for the entire development lifecycle, including solution design, testing, implementation, and maintenance\n\nIn close collaboration with subject matter experts, resolve operational challenges and assist in identifying appropriate solutions to raising issues.\n\nCommunicate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide status updates, and deliver project milestones.\n\nWE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF…\n3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.\n\nIdeally, involved in building machine learning models focused on forecasting, optimization or advanced planning\n\nAbility to ensure robust, scalable, and high-performance system\n\nProficiency in SQL, relational data warehouses, ETL design and development, and pipeline orchestration.\n\nExperience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure robust and reliable software solutions.\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, stakeholders, and clients.\n\nExperience in technical documentation and creating user guides.\n\nExperience with Databricks.\n\nMust be actively using agentic development practices via tools like Claude, Copilot, etc.\n\nOUR OFFER\nZalando provides a range of benefits, here’s an overview of what you can expect.
