storage, and system health;\nAnalyze slow queries and optimize database performance;\nInvestigate incidents and perform root cause analysis;\nBuild monitoring dashboards and alerting mechanisms;\nConduct capacity planning and health assessments.\nAutomation & Platform Engineering\nDevelop Infrastructure as Code for database deployments;\nBuild CI/CD pipelines for database lifecycle management;\nAutomate provisioning, backup, maintenance, failover, and operational tasks;\nDevelop reusable automation using Ansible, Bash, or Python;\nImprove deployment consistency through standardization.\nMaintenance & Reliability\nMaintain high-availability database clusters;\nPerform database patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management;\nValidate backup and disaster recovery readiness;\nImprove platform reliability and operational efficiency;\nMaintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.\nWhat you need\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field;\n3+ years of experience managing production databases;\nStrong hands-on experience with both MySQL and PostgreSQL;\nStrong Linux administration skills;\nExperience with SQL performance tuning and troubleshooting;\nExperience with backup, restore, and replication technologies;\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills;\nExcellent communication and teamwork
