Its continued success will be dependent on building and retaining a world-class team.\nThe Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing and procuring goods and services, while working closely with key stakeholders in management.\nThis role will report to the Head of Finance\nIn more detail, the areas of responsibility include:\nBe involved in sourcing, evaluating and selecting suppliers for goods and services in adherence with approved requisitions and procurement plans.\nEvaluate and screen vendors and suppliers based on price, quality and delivery speed to secure optimal products and services for the best price.\nMaintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices and delivery receipts.\nMonitor stock movement and conduct regular stock counts to reconcile discrepancies.\nEnsure all office floors are stocked up on stationery and office supplies.\nAssist in storing and organizing inventory items, maintaining any inventory files, managing stock levels.\nConduct regular quality checks.\nMaintain an effective store management system.\nProvide monthly reports on inventory and procured items.\nEnsure proper handling of perishable food products if any, coordinating and supervising outsourced cleaners, tea assistants.\nEnsure all procurement activities comply with Zamara's procurement policy and relevant regulatory requirements, including declaring and managing any conflicts of interest and upholding anti-bribery and anti-corruption standards.\nPerform any other duties as may be signed from time to time.\nKEY RELATIONSHIPS\nThe Procurement Officer works closely with the Finance Department on budget approvals, invoice processing and payment cycles, with Department Requisitioners across the business to understand procurement needs and ensure timely fulfilment with Suppliers and Vendors on sourcing, contracting and performance management.\nKEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS\nThe following experience is preferred:\nMinimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience in procurement and inventory management.\nDegree in Procurement/Purchasing/Supply Chain Management.\nFamiliarity with inventory management software and systems.\nRelationship building & networking skills at all levels.\nHighly organized individual with the ability to multi-task.\nStrong negotiation skills, with the ability to secure favourable terms and pricing while maintaining supplier relationships.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy\nSound understanding of procurement ethics, compliance and integrity
