Come join our team!\nWe are looking for a Software Engineer to support the Data and Analytics Division. Working under the direction of the Senior Software Engineer, this position develops, tests, and sustains web applications and dashboards on the Client Platform, an AWS GovCloud environment serving Navy operational, financial, and acquisition users. This is a hands-on development role with responsibility for testing and user support, suited to an engineer looking to grow in a modern cloud and DevSecOps environment.\nResponsibilities include, but will not be limited to:\nDevelop and enhance front-end and back-end features for custom data applications and executive dashboards, following established architecture and coding standards.\nBuild and consume RESTful APIs and write queries against relational and NoSQL data stores.\nDevelop test plans, write and execute test cases, and track defects through resolution.\nWrite and maintain automated unit, regression, and UI tests that run within the CI/CD pipeline.\nFix bugs, make UI/UX updates, and perform routine maintenance as part of continuous sustainment.\nRemediate code-level findings from SAST, DAST, and container scans.\nProvide Tier 2 user support, including access issues, dashboard navigation, and basic data visualization troubleshooting, using the Government-approved ticketing system.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and release activities.\nContribute to system and user documentation.\nRequired Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:\n4+ years experience developing web applications using a modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and a back-end language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, .NET).\nWorking knowledge of SQL and experience integrating applications with a database.\nExperience with software testing, including writing test cases and tracking defects.\nExperience using Git or another version control system.\nDoDM 8140.03 qualifying certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) prior to start.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Node.js and Python.\nExposure to AWS services, especially in GovCloud or another DoD environment.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., AWS CodePipeline, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins).\nFamiliarity with Docker or other container technologies.\nExperience with automated testing tools (e.g., Jest, Selenium, Cypress, PyTest).\nExperience with Power BI or Qlik.\nHelp desk or user support experience.\nExperience with Jira or Azure DevOps.\nRequired Security Clearance:\nAn active Secret or higher clearance, per contract requirements.\n“Outstanding Performance…Always!”\nOur corporate motto represents our commitment to build long-term relationships with both our clients and our employees by providing the highest quality service in everything we do.
