Specifically, you will join the API Platform team, focusing on building and supporting mission-critical components for a retail energy platform. Your work will involve developing a high-performance GraphQL API and an event gateway to provide coherent, low-latency data access for global energy clients.\nYou should be comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment where pairing and swarming on complex problems are the norm.\nWhat you will do:\nDevelop and support core products including a GraphQL API and event gateway using Scala.\n\nWork on a mix of discovery/spike tasks, technical debt reduction, and core delivery tickets.\n\nPlay an active role in agile ceremonies, including weekly planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.\n\nCollaborate with the wider engineering community on platform health reviews, post-mortems, and improving shared services.\n\nUtilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to manage deployments on Kubernetes.\n\nWhat you will bring:\n7+ years of experience in backend software development.\n\nStrong professional experience with Scala.\n\nProven track record with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).\n\nExperience working with GraphQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB).\n\nEvidence of proactively and independently solving complex problems.\n\nA collaborative mindset with experience in pair programming and peer reviews.\n\nNice to have:\nExperience with Kafka and Avro for event-driven architectures.\n\nFamiliarity with AWS components and monitoring tools.\n\nKnowledge of Kubernetes-hosted environments.\n\nAwareness of SRE concepts, such as disaster recovery and platform health monitoring.\n\nExperience in software design, service architecture, or technical options analysis.\n\nWhat we offer:\n100% Remote Work\n\nWFH allowance: Monthly payment as financial support for remote working.\n\nCareer Growth: We have established a career development program accessible for all employees with a 360º feedback that will help us to guide you in your career progression.\n\nTraining: For Tech training at Zartis, you have time allocated during the week at your disposal.
