This role combines cloud platform architecture with expertise in traffic analytics, DDoS mitigation, and large-scale network observability.\nThis role partners with engineering, operations, and security teams to deliver highly scalable, data-driven platform solutions across cloud and on-prem environments, particularly within service provider and telecom ecosystems.\nResponsibilities \nDesign and architect scalable, secure, and highly available platform solutions\nBuild and maintain telemetry ingestion pipelines (NetFlow, sFlow, IPFIX)\nSupport and enhance DDoS detection and mitigation platforms\nAnalyze network traffic patterns and provide insights for optimization and security\nDefine and implement Infrastructure as Code and automation strategies\nEnable observability, monitoring, and performance optimization across platforms\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams on platform and network initiatives\nIntegrate and support traffic intelligence platforms such as Nokia Deepfield\nProvide technical leadership and contribute to architectural standards\nDevelop and maintain documentation and best practices\nNothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. \nQualifications\nStrong understanding of TCP/IP networking (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, DNS, SNMP)\nProfessional experience in a service provider network\nExperience with NetFlow, sFlow, IPFIX and traffic telemetry systems\nFamiliarity with DDoS detection and mitigation strategies\nDemonstrated platform ownership and operations of DDoS platforms such as Nokia Deepfield, Netscout Arbor, or other similar platforms\nExperience with Linux/Unix systems\nProgramming/scripting skills (Python, Go, or similar)\nExperience with RESTful APIs and automation\nCloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)\nKubernetes and containerization\nInfrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)\nObservability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)\nUnderstanding of distributed systems and microservices\nExperience with big data platforms (Kafka, Hadoop, Spark) \nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)\nMinimum of five (5) years of experience in platform engineering, network engineering, or architecture roles \nEstimated base salary range: $77,100 - $118,600 USD/annually\nWork Authorization Requirement: This position is not eligible for employment-based visa sponsorship.
