This role will focus on creating automation agents and services that streamline manual tasks, such as data entry, transactions, and analysis. These solutions will be in addition to our AI support from established Zayo systems based on platforms such as Salesforce and ServceNow.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop automation projects utilizing OpenAI based agents that properly handle and securely process private, corporate data alongside external data sources.\n\nScript and code primarily in Python to build and deploy automation solutions.\n\nEngage with internal customers to understand opportunities and craft solutions.\n\nBuild and validate prototypes, assure reliability, and transform into final implementations.\n\nHarden applications for production readiness and ensure data security and compliance.\n\nCollaborate with appropriate teams to integrate automation workflows.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like:\nBuild and deliver internal and external AI based solutions to deliver value to the business as process cost savings or customer revenue support.\n\nShort time cycles (months) for deploying result by leveraging AI for building code, and using intelligent solutions exploiting existing sofwtare systems.\n\nStrong collaboration with internal stakeholders to understand automation opportunities and requirements and translate these into prototypes and final implementations.\n\nQualifications:\nMinimum of ten (10) years of software development experience.\n\nMinimum of two (2) years of proven experience in AI-driven automation projects.\n\nDemonstrated proficiency in Python scripting.\n\nDemonstrated experience building and designing complex systems (e.g., workflows, distributed applications).\n\nFamiliarity with OpenAI technology, Agent related commonly accepted practices (e.g., A2A and MCP), and other AI technology relevant to building agents.\n\nExperience with GIT, JIRA, Agile and software development pipelines.\n\nGeneral understanding of data security practices, especially in automation.\n\nSuperior written and oral communication skills, including comfort interacting with customers when needed.\n\nAbility to explain complex technical topics clearly to non-technical audiences.\n\nStrong ownership mindset-you take responsibility for outcomes, not just outputs.\n\nHumility and curiosity: willing to be wrong, learn, and adapt.\n\nTelecom experience is a strong plus, but not required if you learn quickly and think in systems.\n\nExperience working with AWS, and enterprise platforms like ServiceNow, Salesforce, or OracleFusion is a plus.\n\nEstimated Base Salary Range: $89,800.00 - $138,200.00 USD/annually.\nWork Authorization Requirement: This position is not eligible for employment-based visa sponsorship.
