In this fast-paced entry-level role, you will have the opportunity to support our Engineers and System Designers and learn all aspects of Physical Security design.\nYou are a resourceful, knowledgeable, and self-motivated security professional who thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment.\nCORE COMPETENCIES\nGrowth Minded: Strong self-awareness of strengths and development areas with a curiosity and appetite for change and innovation\nAdaptable: Ability to adjust to changing circumstances, conditions, and tasks quickly and effectively\nCollaborative: Ability to solicit and understand multiple perspectives\nEvaluative: Ability to evaluate outputs rigorously to ensure consistent excellence in delivery\nAccountable: Assumes responsibility for successfully accomplishing work objectives and delivering results; setting high standards of performance for self and others\nPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES\nThe essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:\nQuality Control\nReview and validate client project drawings for accuracy and ensure all QC checklist items are adhered to for each project deliverable.\nIncorporate feedback from the Engineer, System Designer II, and System Designer III for continuous improvement of drawing sets.\nDesign\nLearn and develop a working knowledge of drafting/modeling of the security floor layouts for access control, video, and other various security systems, wiring diagrams, schematics, and access control board layout drawings under the guidance of Engineer, System Designer II, and System Designer III.\nProduction\nUnder general supervision of the Lead System Design Engineer, support basic design tasks, develop basic security floor layouts, and prepare system drawings.\nMaintain complete and orderly project files and documentation.\nCollaborate\nWork collaboratively with the Engineer, System Designer II, and System Designer III on projects from design to closeout.\nAssist team with the preparation and assembling of documents and packages.\nRequirements\nWHAT YOU'LL NEED\nExperience: 1+ years of Revit experience in a professional environment required. Revit experience in Security, Electrical, or Telecom fields preferred.\nEducation: Associate degree, Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit for Electrical Design, or relevant work experience\n Knowledge: Electronic security experience with vendor-specific knowledge (Lenel, Software House CCure 9000, DMP, Milestone, etc.) is a plus\n\nSkills: Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software\n Proficiency in Bluebeam preferred, Navisworks and Dynamo is a plus\n Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and work quality\n Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills\n\nAbilities: Tech-savvy professional, who is curious about new technologies and the demonstrated ability to apply new systems to everyday tasks\n\nWHAT WE OFFER\nCompetitive salary based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications\nZBeta is a remote-first company with a distributed team.
