If so, join us in our mission to redefine security standards and make a lasting difference in our community.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nAs a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting security design and installation projects throughout North, South, and Central America, including new sites and expansion projects, post-occupancy projects, and technology upgrade projects. Review bid leveling documentation and provide feedback on the award recommendation.\nEvaluate SOW responses and prepare evaluation reports, to include evaluation criteria, scoring, and recommendation details.\nDesign\nPerform security site evaluations of potential client properties and review proposed design concepts.\nApply client system design standards to in-progress site design, collaborate with client owner and user group stakeholders to define use cases and verify functional requirements, and produce a security functional specification for the project.\nReview all security system design documentation for compliance with published security requirements, technical standards, and installation standards.\nReview VAR requests for equipment substitutions and scope variances and provide recommendations for approval.\nRedline documentation with corrections and log issues, as required.\nClient Relationship\nAccountable for keeping clients informed of project status, including budget, schedule, risks, issues, and successes, and managing the client's expectations around the project design through individual and project team member communication.\nCollaborate\nServe as a primary security point of contact for project teams and stakeholders.\nAttend regular project design, project management, Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC), and construction meetings.\nManage site activation activities for physical security amongst project parties and stakeholders to drive schedule, quality, and cost.\nAssist in the coordination of other trades required to complete the project including Contractor, Electrical, IT, etc.\nDocumentation\nProduce project status and issues reports and meet with client stakeholders weekly to review and resolve high-priority project issues.\nLog all instances of issue resolutions that constitute exceptions to the published client security requirements to facilitate effective requirements exceptions reporting and/or requirement document updates.\nQuality Control\nConduct on-site inspections during construction and installation and final acceptance testing of completed systems installation.\nManage project lessons learned, site metrics evaluation, and contractor performance evaluations.\nReview all security system design documentation produced by the system designer for compliance with published security requirements, technical standards, and installation standards.\nOversee the delivery of all shop drawings and close-out documentation required from the integrator/contractor.\nRequirements\nWHAT YOU'll NEED\nExperience: 5+ years of project management experience, with a significant portion of tenure spent as a consultant, integrator, or technical end user.\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience\nKnowledge: Detailed knowledge of access control system hardware, wiring standards/practices, installation methods, and programming required\n Experience working on corporate office core/shell and tenant fit-out projects is preferred.\n\nSkills: Basic knowledge of Lenel OnGuard, with experience performing monitoring functions and simple programming changes is a plus.
